INF-162 Introduction to the Internet

This course introduces the necessary skills to access the Internet using leading Internet browsers. Topics covered include the Web, its components and organization; URLs; browsing Web s; Web management techniques; saving and printing; fundamental techniques for searching using various search engines; sending and receiving electronic mail; mail management techniques; reading andposting newsgroup articles, conversing and chatting; and popular Web sites.
