HIS-201 American Civil War and Reconstruction Era, 1845-1877

This course explores the causes, course, and consequence of the Civil War Era. Broad political, social, military, and economics aspects of this period will be covered. Substantial attention will also be paid to the challenges and failures of Reconstruction.
